Walking into a distressed venture with a great concept, reputable partners but no foresight moving forward, Crown took a partnership role seeing the opportunity to expand its growing hospitality portfolio and establish our footprint amongst New York City’s globally renowned restaurants. Working with multiple personalities entailed great patience and project management.
Being able to adapt to constant design changes and working with an older building required keeping moral high and everyone working together amongst the multiple partners and seasoned industry aficionados. Crown was not only the architect, but oversaw the construction management, engineering scopes, expediting, and intimately executed the design to achieve the environment of an old English Cottage.
Rabbit in the Moon was the hot topic of multiple press releases weeks before opening. In the restaurant's first weeks it was visited by world renowned celebrities and athletes, global business leaders and many pleased local patrons.
