With a deep understanding of the clients’ vibrant personalities, dynamic energy, and passion for entertaining, Crown transformed a modest renovation into an expansive reimagining of their brownstone. The project included a complete gut renovation, along with the addition of a garden roof and a striking two-story glass solarium at the rear of the property.
The roof was raised several feet to allow for soaring 13-foot ceilings in the master suite, which offers sweeping views of the Statue of Liberty and Lower Manhattan. The rooftop is designed as an entertainer’s paradise, featuring a 300-square-foot garden and a 400-square-foot entertainment area with an outdoor grill and bar perfect for hosting gatherings in style.
The climate-controlled, two-story glass solarium provides a year-round retreat for after-dinner cocktails and relaxed socializing. Inside, custom millwork, imported Italian marble, and refined finishes infuse each room with warmth and character, striking a seamless balance between beauty and functionality throughout the home.
This $2.5 million renovation not only significantly increased the property’s long-term value but also empowered the owners to fully embrace a lifestyle rooted in generosity, joy, and meaningful connection.
